Wanting to learn more about Kin’s memory? We’ve put together some facts here for you - and you can find more in our guide on using Kin’s Memory:

We're currently overhauling it (and you can read about that process in this article series)!
But, for now, Kin's memory is a semantic database that creates brief entries with the data Kin gets from interactions. Kin then builds links between them to retain context. You can see a graphical representation of Kin's Memory in the app.
Not exactly. Kin was designed to remember key info from discussions, not the discussions themselves. Kin will remember the facts and contexts discussed, but not everything word for word.
Kin can usually commit something to, or recall something, from Memory instantly, but there may be cases where it can't.
You should only get close to repeating info when informing Kin of updates.
Of course - just tell Kin to remember that thing. However, saying something is important and not using long messages will help Kin do this itself.
At present, there's no official limit on the amount of memories and connections Kin can store and reference. Don't worry about overloading your Kin!
If you keep messages short (~4 sentences), state info clearly, and change topics infrequently, it can help Kin.
