Are there any long-term plans for memory improvement of Kin?

Yes! We'll release more soon. In short, we're improving how Kin understands time and context, while improving memory creation and management.

To understand more about the work we’re doing, check out this article series by our CTO.

Can I import documents into Kin?

Not yet, but hopefully soon.

For now, copy-pasting into a cloud notes app (or directly off your mobile) and into Kin's Journal feature is the fastest way to give Kin large text documents.

Our CGO, Yngvi, covers how to do this in his guide to using Kin.

Are there any plans for a desktop version?

Absolutely! We know it's wanted, and we're working on it. Watch this space!

Can I use a mobile emulator to launch Kin on desktop?

A: You can try, but we're yet to see this working successfully. If you manage it, please tell us!

What about a web/browser version?

We have no immediate plans - but we're not saying no either. Let us know if you want this.

Will different platforms (i.e. mobile & desktop) sync data?

Yes - that's partly why it's not done yet. We're creating a secure and local-first way to sync data across devices.

Can I send pictures to Kin for it to see?

No, and that isn't planned. But never say never.

Can I ask Kin to create an image for me?

No, and again it's not planned.

Do you plan to integrate with third-party apps?

Yes! Kin already can integrate with calendars, and we're working on more. We’re always open to ideas.

I have an idea/bug for the team!
